Julia Lind

Julia discovered her love of performing arts when she was cast in her very first musical at age 12, when she realized she loved dancing, singing, and acting. Julia was an elite member of a competitive dance team where she practiced many dance genres, including tap, jazz, lyrical, and ballet, and traveled to regional and national competitions, receiving numerous awards. Julia was also involved in the theater club during her high school career at Belleville High School.
Julia is currently involved with local community theater groups in Plymouth and at The Cherry Hill Village Theater in Canton, Michigan, where she played her dream role as Leisel in “The Sound of Music", her nightmare role as Wednesday Adams in “The Adams Family”, and her sassy sophisticated role as Vivienne in "Legally Blonde". Julia had numerous dancing roles in these productions as well, including singing while holding an arabesque on a moving bicycle! Her other productions include “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Into the Woods”.
Julia is so excited to teach aspiring dancers at The Belleville Lake Dance Company where she will share her passion and love for the performance arts! When Ms. Julia is not teaching dance or acting, she enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her pets and large family. A secret fact about Julia is that she is left-handed and has the most beautiful penmanship, like calligraphy!
